As you may know, our great friend Gerald Weber passed away April 2024. It is, without a doubt, not only a tremendous loss to his family, but also to the premium amplifier community at large!
We, at Kendrick Amplifiers, want you to know that we remain committed to you - our customers! We still provide repairs, maintenance and technological support anytime you need it.
Additionally, for those interested, we host a one hour ZOOM meeting every Tuesday evening @ 8:00 PM EST where our team of fellow amp builders, techs and aficionados discuss current repairs, schematics, new products and custom builds!
We also continue to train new amp techs with our 20 lesson Correspondence Course! Here you will learn everything from Ohm's Law to advanced trouble-shooting techniques. Go at your own pace! Each lesson is personally reviewed and when all 20 lessons are completed, we award a beautiful certificate worthy of framing!
And for those builders and hobbyists out there, we still provide the very best in replacement parts! Custom designed power and output transformers, premium Kendrick speakers (8”, 10” and 12” @ 4/8/16 ohm), the finest electrolytic and signal capacitors as well as any cabinet your project may require!
Sincerely,
Sincerely,
Jill Kendrick Weber
Gerald Weber started making Kendrick amps started making/building amplifiers in 1989. The company expanded over the years to producing building guitar amplifiers, guitars, speakers, effects pedals and other guitar related musical products.. Weber is the author of A Desktop Reference of Hip Vintage Guitar Amps, Tube Talk for the Guitarist and Tech, Tube Guitar Amplifier Essentials, All About Vacuum Tube Guitar Amplifiers, and Sound Advice from Gerald Weber, all of which gather together numerous technical tips for tube amplifiers.
Weber hosted and produced three Tube Amp Instructional DVDs - Tube Guitar Amplifier Servicing and Overhaul, Understanding Vacuum Tube Guitar Amplifiers, and Tube Guitar Amplifier Forum - each approximately 4 hours of material indexed with point and click navigation for easy reviews.
“Gerald was committed to building the very best amplifiers he could,” said Jill Weber, his wife of 30 years. “He continually researched and designed circuits in pursuit of the best tone he could get from his designs. He had very high standards and was always willing to speak with people about their tone and amplifiers, and very much enjoyed sharing his knowledge with everyone. He had a weekly webinar that brought him a lot of joy because he could speak with people who had the same passion. He was always genuinely interested in everyone he met, and was willing to help all."
